Adapting it to the 'thoughtful gifts' message, we changed the gift to reflect something he loves. Rollerskate shoes allowed him to zoom around like his favourite superhero and as a bonus, he could use the bubble wrap as a cape!

Once the idea was locked, design could begin. We started with a colour palette based on eBay brand colours and built on from there. The character design was clean and graphic, to complement eBay's brand aesthetic. A universal and friendly look.
